A Study of Herbal Theory in Qian-Jin-Yao-Fang and Qian-Jin-Yi-Fang

Abstract

|
We know that Qian-Jin-Yao-Fang and Qian-Jin-Yi-Fang are the first encyclopedia in oriental medicine. But fewer people studied on minute theory of these books. As it is reason, I studied on herbal theory of these books. Method of study is that I make a comparison between these books and Shen -Nong-Ben- Cao-Jing-Ji-Zhu("P7
VEilk 11) .
From this study, I conclude that herbal theory of these books was based on Shen-Nong-Ben-Cao-Jing-Ji-Zhu and it was usefully reformed by Sun-Si-Miao (4,1 M). As a result, Herbal Theory in Qian-Jin-Yao-Fang and Qian-Jin-Yi-Fang is more useful and richer than Shen -Nong-Ben-Cao-Jing-Ji-Zhu.
